灞原風雨定，晚見雁行頻。
落葉他鄉樹，寒燈獨夜人。
空園白露滴，孤壁野僧鄰。
寄臥郊扉久，何年致此身。

My Autumnal Lodging Over the Ba River

The rough wind and rain over Ba Yuan lulls,

As dusk falls there soar many a wild goose file,
Tree leaves of this outland begin to fall,
Sitting solitarily with the lone lamp amidst the chills,
In the empty little garden white dews drizzle,
Living in the wilds in a desolate monk’s neighborhood,
Long laying up behind my wicker stile,
When will I be on His Majesty’s behoof.
