去郭軒盈敞，無村眺望賖；
澄江平少岸，幽樹晚多花。
細雨魚兒出，微風燕子斜；
城中十萬戶，此地兩三家。

Far away from the city wall the loggia is wide and ample,

No hamlets stand in my view and form obstacles,

The limpid river water placidly lies brimming the shoal,

Umbrageous trees are teeming with captivating flowers in the vernal nightfall,

Fish cutting capers on the water relishing the mizzles,

Amidst the zephyry zephyr swallows askew shuttle,

The city is jammed with ten thousand households,

But here are only a handful.
