踏莎行        晏殊 (991-1055)

小徑紅稀，芳郊綠徧，高臺樹色陰陰見。

春風不解禁楊花，濛濛亂撲行人面。
翠葉藏鶯，朱簾隔燕，爐香靜逐遊絲轉。
一場愁夢酒醒時，斜陽卻照深深院。

Flowers along the small path fade away,

Green green grasses in the countryside are all over the place,
A corner of the high chamber emerges amidst densely flushing tree shade,
Vernal zephyrs are too gentle to have the delirious willow down abated,
Leaving it messily puff into people’s face,
Orioles sing amidst verdant foliage,
Swallows busily shuttle beyond the pearl portieres,
Whiffs of incense smoke quietly whirling in the air after silk traces,
Awaking from the wine amid glum dreams later in the day,
The setting sun is still flushing on the deep deep courtyard with slanting rays.
