人皆養子望聰明，我被聰明誤一生。

惟願孩兒愚且魯，無災無難到公卿。

Everybody wants to have sons smart and shrewd,

But I’ve made a mess of my life for being astute,
All I want is my sons are just reckless damfools,
Peacefully and genially exult in the highest ranks all their lives through.
