奉和聖制從蓬萊向興慶閣道中留春雨中春望之作應制
王維 (701-761)渭水自縈秦塞曲，黃山舊繞漢宮斜。
鑾輿迥出千門柳，閣道回看上苑花。
雲裏帝城雙鳳闕，雨中春樹萬人家。
為乘陽氣行時令，不是宸遊玩物華。

Around the Qin borders the Huai River
encircles,
Askew to the Han palaces the Yellow
Mountain straddles,From myriad palace doors emerges the Imperial Carriage through thousands and thousands of fluttering willows,
Over the boulevard His Majesty can savour the flowers in the gardens imperial,
The phoenixes of the imperial palaces can even be seen amidst the clouds,
The flourishing foliage amidst the vernal rains can be seen in the myriad households,
His Majesty’s outing is to chime in the Yang forces vernal,
He is not looking for gaieties nor gambol.
