别來老大苦修道，煉得離心成死灰。
平生憶念消磨盡，昨夜因何入夢來。

Since I left spiritual sublimity I strenuously cultivate towards my old age,

As apathetic as dead ashes is my heart’s present state,
Buried in oblivion are the memories of my past days,
How come crashing into my dreams last night they found their way.
