胡馬大宛名，鋒棱瘦骨成。
竹批雙耳峻，風入四蹄輕。
所向無空闊，真堪托死生。
驍騰有如此，萬里可橫行。

The Ferghanian horse is famous for its pedigree,
Its wiry yet sinewy framework makes it unique,
Its ears erect like bamboo chips,
With hoofs riding the wind it fleets,
To dominate vastitude is its feat,
To it the warrior entrusts his life is only meet,
With such a steed,
Conquering ten thousand miles is nothing but easy street.
