客中初夏      司馬光 (1019-1086)

四月清和雨乍晴，南山當戶轉分明。
更無柳絮因風起，惟有葵花向日傾。

Early summer in my sojourn      Sima Guang (1019-1086)

Weather in the fourth month turns refreshingly crisp and soothing as the rain lulls,

Thrown into relief the south mountain facing my door stands fulgid and sheenful,
Willow down that flitters with the breeze is no longer in the milieu,
Leaving only the sunflowers bend basking in the sun's glow.
