東郡趨庭日，南樓縱目初，
浮雲連海岱，平野入青徐。 孤嶂秦碑在，荒城魯殿餘，
從來多古意，臨眺獨躊躇。
On
the city wall of Yanzhou Du Fu (712-770)
To Yanzhou I come to see after my father,
For the first time I climb up the south city wall to take a look round here,
Clouds reaching out to the Mt. Dai of the East Sea scatter,
Into Qingzhou and Xuzhou the great level champaign country disappears,
On a solitary peak still stands the stone erected by Qin the First Emperor,
In the dilapidated city palaces of Prince Lu of Han still endure,
Ancient sites abound around this area,
On seeing them my heart thrills with what I always adore.
