煮豆持作羮,漉豉以為汁。
萁在釜下燃,豆在釜中泣。本是同根生,相煎何太急。

Cao Zhi (192-232)
Beans are boiled for a soup to be made,
Leaving only the decoction with beans sieved away,
Under the cauldron beanstalks burn ablaze,
While beans in the cauldron crackle and weep in craze,
Hey! Brothers! We come from the same base,
Need you boil us with such rage!.
