孤鴻海上來，池潢不敢顧；
側見雙翠鳥，巢在三珠樹。 矯矯珍木巔，得無金丸懼？
美服患人指，高明逼神惡。
今我遊冥冥，弋者何所慕？

In flies from the oceans a solitary wild goose,
Sight of the pool underneath it lets loose,Looking askew it chooses,
On the tip of a precious, sturdy, triple-pearled cypress,
A couple of kingfishers roost,
Wary not of metal pellets are they agog to prove?
Luxurious arrays would be spitefully disapproved,
Beware of offending the deities, even for the dignitaries standing aloft,
Now I soar in the boundless heavens,
What has the bird shooter to pursue?
